Raymarine Axiom 2 Pro 12 RVM Chartplotter/Fishfinder – Lighthouse North America Chart – No Transducer

Description

The Raymarine Axiom 2 Pro 12 RVM combines a 12.1-inch HydroTough IPS touchscreen with LightHouse North America Charts, RealVision MAX, and a 1kW dual-channel CHIRP sounder. HybridTouch gives you both touch and physical keypad control, while the missing transducer leaves room to match sonar hardware to the hull. It is suited to offshore fishing boats, coastal cruisers, and larger center consoles.

Key Features

• 12.1-inch HydroTough IPS touchscreen – Provides a large workspace for charts, sonar, and split-screen information.
• 1280 x 800 WXGA resolution – Shows detailed chart and system data in a 12-inch format.
• RealVision MAX and 1kW dual-channel CHIRP – Supports advanced sonar functions when paired with a suitable transducer.
• HybridTouch touchscreen and keypad – Provides touch control plus physical operation in wet or moving conditions.
• LightHouse North America Charts – Provides preloaded chart coverage for supported North American waters.

Who Is This For?

This unit suits offshore fishing boats, coastal cruisers, larger center consoles, and multi-display helms that have room for a 12.1-inch MFD. The physical keypad is useful when spray or gloves make touchscreen-only operation less practical.

It is not ideal for a small console or a buyer who wants a complete ready-to-fish package, because no transducer is included. The 15.6-inch Axiom 2 Pro 16 RVM is better when maximum screen area is the priority.

Compatibility

Confirmed features include LightHouse North America Charts, RealVision MAX, 1kW dual-channel CHIRP, and HybridTouch touchscreen/keypad operation. The supplied information does not identify compatible transducer models, NMEA 2000, NMEA 0183, radar, autopilot, or third-party chartplotter networks. No named incompatible system was provided; verify Raymarine sonar and network requirements before installation.

The Axiom 2 Pro 12 RVM is the balanced choice between the 9-inch Axiom 2 Pro 9 S and the very large 15.6-inch Axiom 2 Pro 16 RVM. It gives a substantial 12.1-inch chart and sonar workspace, North American charts, HybridTouch control, and the higher-level RealVision MAX sounder platform. The trade-off is the missing transducer, so the buyer must still plan the sonar installation separately.
