Furuno TZT16X 16 Multi-Touch Multi-Function Display

Description

The Furuno TZT16X provides a 15.6-inch Full HD all-glass IPS multi-touch display with a hexacore processor, built-in 1kW dual-channel TruEcho CHIRP and CW sonar, and Side-Scan readiness. TZ MAPS, MM3 Vector, and CMOR chart support provide charting flexibility, while NMEA 2000, three Ethernet ports, WiFi, and HDMI input/output suit a large networked vessel installation. No transducer is included.

Key Features

• 15.6-inch Full HD all-glass IPS multi-touch display – Provides a large, detailed workspace for charts, sonar, and video.
• 1920 x 1080 Full HD resolution – Shows clear navigation and sonar information across the large screen.
• 1kW dual-channel TruEcho CHIRP and CW sonar – Supports high-power conventional fishfinding with suitable hardware.
• Side-Scan ready – Provides an expansion path for compatible side-looking sonar equipment.
• NMEA 2000, three Ethernet ports, WiFi, and HDMI I/O – Supports marine networking, wireless data, and external video connections.

Who Is This For?

This unit suits offshore fishing vessels, commercial boats, large cruisers, and multi-display helms that can accommodate a 15.6-inch display. The Full HD screen and three Ethernet ports are useful when navigation, sonar, radar, and video systems share the helm.

It is not ideal for a compact boat or buyers seeking a complete sonar package. The transducer is not included, and the large display requires careful mounting and power planning.

Compatibility

Confirmed chart support includes TZ MAPS, MM3 Vector, and CMOR, with NMEA 2000, three Ethernet ports, WiFi, and HDMI input/output. The supplied information does not identify specific transducer models, NMEA 0183, radar, autopilot, or third-party network compatibility. No named incompatible system was provided; verify Furuno chart, sonar, video, and network requirements before installation.

Warranty & Support

Furuno provides a 2-year standard warranty. The supplied specifications do not state warranty exclusions or service procedures.

The TZT16X is the large-screen Furuno option here, offering Full HD resolution, dual-channel 1kW sonar, three Ethernet ports, and HDMI connectivity. It provides more video and network flexibility than the Simrad NSX displays, but it requires a separately selected transducer and a larger helm area. Choose it for a commercial or offshore vessel system rather than a compact center-console installation.
