Garmin GPSMAP 1222 LiveScope Plus Bundle w/LVS34 Transducer

Description

The Garmin GPSMAP 1222 LiveScope Plus bundle gives the helm a large 12-inch keyed display and includes the Panoptix LiveScope Plus LVS34 transducer with GLS 10 module. Forward, Down, and Perspective sonar modes let you view live activity around the boat, while the 1280 x 800 screen provides room for chart and sonar information. This package includes a Worldwide Basemap rather than detailed regional charts.

Key Features

• 12-inch non-touch keyed display – Provides a large viewing area with physical controls for wet or rough helm conditions.
• 1280 x 800 resolution – Gives clear room for LiveScope views, charts, and system data.
• Panoptix LiveScope Plus LVS34 with GLS 10 module – Includes the live-sonar hardware required for the listed LiveScope modes.
• Forward, Down, and Perspective modes – Lets you view live sonar ahead of, below, or around the boat depending on the selected mode.
• Bail mount or flush mount – Provides two confirmed installation options for different helm layouts.

Who Is This For?

This bundle suits serious freshwater anglers, larger center consoles, and fishing boats that have room for a 12-inch display and need live sonar immediately. The keyed controls are useful when the helm is wet or the boat is moving.

It is not ideal for buyers who need detailed coastal charts included, because the supplied package lists only a Worldwide Basemap. It is also excessive for a small boat that only needs basic depth and GPS information.

Compatibility

Confirmed components include the Panoptix LiveScope Plus LVS34 transducer, GLS 10 module, Forward, Down, and Perspective sonar modes, and bail or flush mounting. The supplied information does not identify NMEA 2000, NMEA 0183, autopilot, radar, or specific Garmin Marine Network compatibility. No named incompatible system was provided; verify network and mounting requirements before installation.

Warranty & Support

Garmin provides a 2-year limited consumer warranty. The supplied specifications do not state warranty exclusions or service procedures.

The GPSMAP 1222 bundle is the larger-screen LiveScope option compared with the GPSMAP 1022 bundle. Both include the LVS34 transducer and GLS 10 module, but the 1222 provides a 12-inch 1280 x 800 workspace that is easier to view from a standing helm. The trade-off is size and chart coverage: it needs more mounting space and includes only a Worldwide Basemap, so detailed charts may need to be added separately.
