Garmin ECHOMAP UHD2 73sv Chartplotter/Fishfinder Combo w/US Inland Maps w/o Transducer

Description

The Garmin ECHOMAP UHD2 73sv display-only package is designed for inland fishing boats and freshwater installations that need a 7-inch touchscreen with keyed assist. Garmin Navionics+ US Inland charts, UHD ClearVü, UHD SideVü, and traditional CHIRP provide the core chartplotter and fishfinder functions, while wireless sharing supports sonar, waypoints, and routes between compatible UHD2 units. No transducer is included.

Key Features

• 7-inch touchscreen with keyed assist – Provides touch control and physical button support for freshwater fishing use.
• 800 x 480 resolution – Displays essential inland charts and sonar information in a compact format.
• UHD ClearVü, UHD SideVü, and traditional CHIRP – Supports downward, side-looking, and conventional sonar with a compatible transducer.
• Garmin Navionics+ US Inland charts – Provides preloaded chart coverage for supported inland waters.
• Wireless sharing – Allows compatible UHD2 units to exchange sonar, waypoints, and routes.

Who Is This For?

This model suits bass boats, aluminum fishing boats, freshwater skiffs, and inland anglers who already have a transducer plan. The 7-inch display fits many compact consoles while providing more room than 5-inch units.

It is not ideal for coastal navigation if the inland chart package does not cover your operating area. It also does not include the transducer needed to use the sonar functions.

Compatibility

Confirmed features include Garmin Navionics+ US Inland charts, UHD ClearVü, UHD SideVü, traditional CHIRP, and wireless sharing of sonar, waypoints, and routes between compatible UHD2 units. The supplied information does not identify specific transducer models, NMEA 2000, NMEA 0183, radar, autopilot, or third-party network compatibility. No named incompatible system was provided; verify Garmin transducer and network requirements before installation.

Warranty & Support

Garmin provides a 1-year limited warranty. The supplied specifications do not state warranty exclusions or service procedures.

The ECHOMAP UHD2 73sv is the inland-focused alternative to the coastal-charted 74sv, with the same 7-inch display class and UHD sonar support but US Inland charts. It is a sensible choice for freshwater anglers who already have a transducer or want to select one separately. The trade-off is chart region and the missing transducer, so it is not a complete out-of-the-box fishing bundle.
