Humminbird XPLORE 9 CMSI+

Description

The Humminbird XPLORE 9 CMSI+ combines a 9-inch 1280 x 720 HD TFT touchscreen with MEGA Side Imaging+, MEGA Down Imaging+, Dual Spectrum CHIRP, and an included XM 14 HW CMSI T transom-mount transducer. Cross Touch control combines touchscreen and keypad operation, while Humminbird Basemap plus LakeMaster/CoastMaster mapping provides a broad charting platform for freshwater and coastal fishing.

Key Features

• 9-inch HD TFT touchscreen – Provides a clear chart and sonar workspace in a compact fishing-boat display.
• 1280 x 720 resolution – Shows detailed mapping and imaging information across the screen.
• MEGA Side Imaging+, MEGA Down Imaging+, and Dual Spectrum CHIRP – Provides side, downward, and conventional fishfinding views.
• XM 14 HW CMSI T transducer included – Supplies the sonar hardware required for the listed imaging functions.
• Cross Touch interface – Provides touchscreen and keypad control for changing conditions on the water.

Who Is This For?

This model suits bass boats, freshwater fishing boats, aluminum craft, coastal fishing boats, and anglers who want broad Humminbird imaging in a 9-inch display. The included transducer makes it suitable for a new installation.

It is not ideal for a buyer who already owns a compatible transducer or wants a large offshore MFD. Its mapping package is listed as Humminbird Basemap plus LakeMaster/CoastMaster, so chart coverage should be confirmed for the operating area.

Compatibility

Confirmed components include the XM 14 HW CMSI T transom-mount transducer, Humminbird Basemap, LakeMaster/CoastMaster mapping, MEGA Side Imaging+, MEGA Down Imaging+, Dual Spectrum CHIRP, and Cross Touch control. The supplied information does not identify NMEA 0183, radar, autopilot, or third-party transducer compatibility. No named incompatible system was provided; verify Humminbird network and accessory requirements before installation.

Warranty & Support

The XPLORE 9 CMSI+ is the complete Humminbird imaging package in this group, with the XM 14 transducer included and MEGA Side Imaging+ added to the Down Imaging and CHIRP platform. Cross Touch gives more control flexibility than a touchscreen-only unit. The trade-off is ecosystem choice: it is best for anglers committing to Humminbird mapping and sonar rather than buyers already invested in Raymarine or Garmin hardware.
