The Mermaid M9 Electric Heat model covers that case: 9,000 BTU of cooling on 110V power, plus a radiant heat strip that can run independently of the refrigeration system — useful for heating the cabin even when the boat is out of the water.

Electric heat mode draws roughly 10 more amps than reverse cycle heating does, which matters on boats with limited generator or shore power capacity — confirm your electrical panel can handle that draw before choosing this configuration over reverse cycle. The upside is heat that works independent of the compressor and water system, which reverse cycle heating cannot do.
