B&G Zeus S 12 3012UW Ultrawide Combo – No Transducer

Description

The B&G Zeus S 12 3012UW is a 12-inch ultrawide sailing chartplotter with SolarMAX HD touchscreen control, next-generation quad-core iMX8 processing, C-MAP Safety Alerts, and X-Generation charting. Built-in Bluetooth and WiFi support wireless connections, while IPX6 and IPX7 protection suits an exposed sailing helm. No transducer is included, so sonar hardware must be selected separately.

Key Features

• 12-inch SolarMAX HD ultrawide touchscreen – Provides a wide workspace for sailing charts, instrument data, and system views.
• Next-generation quad-core iMX8 processor – Provides the stated processing platform for the Zeus S system.
• C-MAP Safety Alerts and X-Generation charting – Provides listed chart and safety information for compatible sailing use.
• Built-in Bluetooth and WiFi – Supports wireless connection options for compatible equipment.
• IPX6 and IPX7 waterproof protection – Provides protection for an exposed sailing helm under the stated ratings.

Who Is This For?

This unit suits cruising sailboats, performance yachts, and sailing boats that benefit from an ultrawide chart and instrument layout. The large format can keep more sailing information visible without relying on several narrow panels.

It is not ideal for buyers seeking a complete fishfinder package because no transducer is included. It is also a sailing-focused display, so fishing-specific sonar is not the main reason to choose this model.

Compatibility

Confirmed features include C-MAP Safety Alerts, X-Generation charting, Bluetooth, WiFi, and the Zeus S sailing platform. The supplied information does not identify NMEA 2000, NMEA 0183, Ethernet, radar, autopilot, or specific transducer compatibility for this listing. No named incompatible system was provided; verify B&G sailing network and sonar requirements before installation.

The Zeus S 12 3012UW is the ultrawide sailing display choice compared with the standard Zeus S 12, offering a wider layout for charts and sailing data. Its trade-off is the missing transducer and the limited connection details supplied for this listing, so sonar and network planning should be completed before purchase. Choose it for sailing-focused chart and instrument visibility, not as a ready-to-use fishfinder.
