Garmin LiveScope XR System w/GLS 10 & LVS62 Transducer

Description

The Garmin LiveScope XR System is built for anglers who need live sonar at longer range than a standard near-boat setup. The LVS62 extended-range transducer and GLS 10 sonar module provide live Forward, Down, and Perspective views for freshwater and saltwater fishing. Mounts for a trolling motor barrel, shaft, and Perspective mode are included, so the system can be adapted to different fishing techniques.

The listed range reaches 500 feet in freshwater and 350 feet in saltwater, although water clarity, depth, boat movement, and target size affect what the operator actually sees. The GLS 10 handles the sonar processing, while the LVS62 supplies the live array. Compatibility is listed with GPSMAP 8400/8600 and ECHOMAP Ultra 2/UHD2 units. The display is not included, so confirm the Garmin network and power arrangement before installation.

Key Features

• LVS62 extended-range transducer – Provides live sonar views at the listed longer ranges.
• GLS 10 sonar module – Supplies the processing module required for the LiveScope XR system.
• 500-foot freshwater and 350-foot saltwater range – Gives the angler more distance to search ahead and around the boat.
• Forward, Down, and Perspective mounting options – Supports different viewing angles and fishing techniques.
• GPSMAP 8400/8600 and ECHOMAP Ultra 2/UHD2 compatibility – Fits listed Garmin display families.

Who Is This For?

This extended-range live sonar system suits tournament anglers, freshwater guides, offshore fishermen, and boats with a compatible Garmin display. It is not ideal for buyers without a Garmin network display or for anyone expecting a complete standalone fishfinder; the display, power, and network installation remain separate.

Compatibility

Confirmed compatibility includes Garmin GPSMAP 8400/8600, ECHOMAP Ultra 2/UHD2, LVS62, GLS 10, trolling-motor barrel and shaft mounts, and Perspective mode mounting. The supplied information does not identify Garmin GPSMAP 9000, Raymarine, Simrad, Lowrance, NMEA 2000, or third-party display compatibility. No named incompatible system was provided.

Warranty & Support

Garmin provides a 1-year limited warranty. The supplied specifications do not state warranty exclusions or service procedures.

The LiveScope XR System is the longer-range Garmin live sonar choice here, with the LVS62 and GLS 10 included rather than sold as separate core components. Its trade-off is installation and display dependence: it needs a compatible Garmin MFD, suitable power, and careful transducer mounting. Choose it when range matters more than a simple near-boat live sonar setup.
