Garmin STRIKER 4 FishFinder w/4-Pin, 77/200kHz TM Transducer

Description

The Garmin STRIKER 4 is a compact traditional CHIRP fishfinder with a 3.5-inch color display, built-in GPS, waypoint marking, and an included 77/200kHz transom-mount transducer. It is designed for small boats and anglers who want depth and fishfinding without the cost or dash space of a larger chartplotter. Ultrascroll keeps the sonar history moving while the boat is underway.

The 480 x 320 HVGA screen is small but easy to fit near a tiller, console, or fishing seat. The 77kHz and 200kHz transducer provides mid- and high-frequency traditional sonar, while the 200W RMS output supports the listed sounder performance. Built-in GPS lets the operator mark waypoints, but this is not a full chartplotter: the supplied package does not include detailed maps or an SD slot. It is best for basic freshwater and small-boat fishing.

Key Features

• 3.5-inch HVGA color display – Fits small consoles and provides a simple sonar screen.
• Traditional CHIRP at 77/200kHz – Provides conventional fishfinding across two frequency ranges.
• 77/200kHz four-pin transducer included – Makes the package ready for a basic transom installation.
• 200W RMS transmit power – Provides the listed output for the traditional sounder.
• Built-in GPS and waypoint marking – Lets anglers save productive locations.

Who Is This For?

This compact Garmin fishfinder suits small fishing boats, kayaks with suitable mounting space, jon boats, and anglers who want traditional CHIRP with GPS waypoint marking. It is not ideal for buyers needing SideVü, ClearVü, detailed maps, radar, or a larger split-screen display.

Compatibility

Confirmed components include the Garmin 77/200kHz four-pin transducer, traditional CHIRP, built-in GPS, waypoint marking, and Ultrascroll. The supplied information does not identify NMEA 2000, NMEA 0183, radar, autopilot, WiFi, Bluetooth, or third-party transducer compatibility. No named incompatible system was provided.

Warranty & Support

Garmin provides a 1-year limited warranty. The supplied specifications do not state warranty exclusions or service procedures.

The STRIKER 4 is the simple, low-cost fishing choice here, with the display, GPS, and traditional transducer included. The trade-off is screen size and sonar scope: it does not provide scanning sonar or detailed marine charts. Choose it for basic depth, fishfinding, and waypoint marking on a small boat, not for a networked offshore helm.
