Garmin STRIKER Vivid 5cv Fishfinder w/GT20-TM

Description

The Garmin STRIKER Vivid 5cv is a compact fishfinder for small boats, kayaks with suitable mounting space, and anglers who want basic sonar and GPS waypoint marking. Its 5-inch keyed display keeps the installation small, while the included GT20-TM transducer provides traditional CHIRP and ClearVü. This is a fishfinder, not a full marine chartplotter with detailed mapping.

The 800 x 480 screen shows sonar returns clearly enough for everyday freshwater fishing, and the high-sensitivity GPS lets the operator mark productive spots. Seven Vivid color palettes change the way the sonar is displayed, which can help when the bottom return is difficult to read. There are no base maps or SD card slot, so the unit is best for sonar, depth, and waypoint work rather than route planning along unfamiliar coastal water.

Key Features

• 5-inch color display with keyed control – Fits compact fishing consoles and keeps operation simple.
• Traditional CHIRP and ClearVü – Provides conventional and downward sonar views.
• GT20-TM transducer included – Supplies the sonar sensor for the package.
• High-sensitivity GPS – Lets anglers mark waypoints and productive fishing locations.
• Seven Vivid color palettes – Provides different sonar presentation options.

Who Is This For?

This compact Garmin fishfinder suits small freshwater boats, kayaks, jon boats, and anglers who need sonar with GPS waypoint marking. It is not ideal for detailed chart navigation, SideVü, radar, or a connected marine electronics network.

Warranty & Support

Garmin provides a 1-year limited warranty. The supplied specifications do not state warranty exclusions or service procedures.

The STRIKER Vivid 5cv is the small, straightforward choice for anglers who want sonar and waypoint marking without a large display. Its trade-off is limited scope: it lacks SideVü, detailed maps, and networking. Choose it for basic depth and fishing use on a small boat, not for coastal route planning or a larger electronics system.
