Simrad NSX 3009 Radar Bundle – HALO20+ Radar Dome & Active Imaging 3-in-1 Transducer

Description

The Simrad NSX 3009 Radar Bundle combines a 9-inch SolarMAX IPS touchscreen with a HALO20+ pulse-compression dome radar, Active Imaging 3-in-1 transducer, and C-MAP Discover X North America charts. The 1024 x 600 display provides a compact radar, chart, and sonar workspace, while the NEON Android-based operating system supports this integrated Simrad package for coastal fishing boats and small cruisers.

Key Features

• 9-inch SolarMAX IPS touchscreen – Provides a practical display for chart, radar, and sonar information in a compact helm.
• 1024 x 600 resolution – Shows essential navigation and fishfinding information in a manageable format.
• HALO20+ pulse-compression dome radar with 36nm range – Provides the included radar component for target and weather monitoring.
• Active Imaging 3-in-1 transducer included – Provides CHIRP, SideScan, and DownScan sonar.
• C-MAP Discover X North America charts – Provides preloaded chart coverage for supported North American waters.

Who Is This For?

This bundle suits coastal fishing boats, bay boats, small cruisers, and center consoles that need radar, charting, and sonar in one system. The included radar and transducer reduce the number of separate components required for a new installation.

It is not ideal for a small console with limited space, because both the 9-inch display and radar dome require careful installation. A larger display is better for boats that need several split-screen panels visible at once.

Compatibility

Confirmed components include the HALO20+ pulse-compression dome radar, Active Imaging 3-in-1 transducer, C-MAP Discover X North America charts, and NEON operating system. The supplied information does not identify NMEA 2000, NMEA 0183, Ethernet, WiFi, Bluetooth, autopilot, or third-party accessory compatibility. No named incompatible system was provided; verify Simrad radar, sonar, and network requirements before installation.

The NSX 3009 Radar Bundle is the complete radar-equipped alternative to the standard NSX 3009, adding both the HALO20+ dome and Active Imaging 3-in-1 transducer. It provides more capability than a display-only package, but the 9-inch screen and radar installation still require careful helm planning. Choose it for a compact integrated coastal system rather than a large offshore multi-display setup.
