Description

The Fischer Panda 8000x Performance IC is a fixed-speed marine diesel generator for vessels requiring 230V single-phase 50Hz AC power. It delivers 6.8 kW continuous output, or 8 kVA, at 3,000 RPM and uses a Kubota Z482 two-cylinder diesel engine with a water-cooled permanent-magnet alternator. The generator is housed in an MPL 3D sound-insulation capsule and is intended for properly designed onboard AC systems.

The unit uses dual-circuit freshwater and seawater cooling with a raw-water impeller pump. It includes an iControl monitoring panel with digital display and diagnostic functions, plus low-oil-pressure, high-temperature, and overload protection. It requires a complete marine installation including fuel, raw-water, exhaust, ventilation, starting-battery, AC distribution, transfer switching, grounding, and correctly rated cabling.

Install diesel fuel feed and return, raw-water intake and strainer, wet exhaust, ventilation, starting battery, AC breaker panel, grounding and bonding, and a shore-power transfer switch or interlock that prevents simultaneous shore and generator power connection. Installation and commissioning should be completed by a qualified marine generator technician.
