Furuno NavNet TZtouch3 9 Hybrid Control MFD w/Single Channel CHIRP Sonar

Description

The Furuno NavNet TZtouch3 9 provides a 9-inch 1280 x 720 IPS multi-touch display with hybrid keypad control, a built-in 1kW single-channel CHIRP sounder, internal 72-channel GPS, and quad-core processing. No transducer is included, so this model suits a planned Furuno installation where sonar hardware will be selected separately. The hybrid control layout provides touch and physical operation options.

Key Features

• 9-inch IPS multi-touch display with hybrid keypad control – Provides a practical display with touch and physical operation options.
• 1280 x 720 resolution – Shows sharper chart and system detail than 800 x 480 displays.
• 1kW single-channel CHIRP sounder – Supports high-power conventional fishfinding when paired with a suitable transducer.
• 72-channel internal GPS receiver – Provides onboard positioning without a separate GPS receiver listed.
• Quad-core processing power – Provides the stated processing platform for the TZtouch3 9.

Who Is This For?

This unit suits coastal fishing boats, small cruisers, center consoles, and owners who prefer a combination of touchscreen and physical keypad control. Its 9-inch size provides more viewing area than compact displays without the mounting demand of a 12- or 19-inch MFD.

It is not ideal for buyers seeking a complete ready-to-fish bundle because no transducer is included. Its single-channel CHIRP sounder also provides less sonar channel capacity than the TZtouch3 16 and 19.

Compatibility

Confirmed features include the 1kW single-channel CHIRP sounder, 72-channel internal GPS, hybrid keypad control, and quad-core processing. The supplied information does not identify NMEA 2000, NMEA 0183, Ethernet, WiFi, radar, autopilot, or specific transducer compatibility. No named incompatible system was provided; verify Furuno sonar and network requirements before installation.

Warranty & Support

Furuno provides a 2-year standard warranty. The supplied specifications do not state warranty exclusions or service procedures.

The TZtouch3 9 is the compact Furuno option compared with the 16- and 19-inch MFDs, but it retains the 1280 x 720 display, hybrid control, internal GPS, and 1kW CHIRP sounder. The trade-off is the single-channel sonar and missing transducer, so it is best for a planned coastal installation where physical controls matter more than maximum screen size or multi-channel sonar.
