Description
Variable Flow Logic and Reversing Analysis
Incompatible flow rates often cause excessive rudder hunting and mechanical wear in custom hydraulic steering circuits. The Octopus Autopilot Pump Type 2 features an adjustable reversing valve to synchronize flow. This unit supports cylinders up to 18 cubic inches.
Electrical integration requires a 12V DC power supply with 19A peak current capacity. Adjustable flow technology allows the installer to tune rudder speed between 10 and 20 seconds. Heavy duty gaskets provide long term protection against internal hydraulic fluid leakage.
