Integration

The B200 requires an AIS/VHF antenna or approved splitter, correct MMSI/static vessel programming, and a compatible MFD, computer, or mobile application for full target display. It is not a VHF voice radio, chartplotter, radar, EPIRB, or a guarantee that all traffic will be detected.

The dedicated DSC watch receiver monitors DSC signaling but does not make the B200 a substitute for a Class D DSC VHF radio. AIS and DSC information depend on correct antenna installation, valid MMSI programming, radio coverage, and other vessels transmitting accurate data.

Installation Notes

Install the transceiver in a dry, accessible location where the display and status indicators can be checked. Mount the GNSS antenna where it has a clear view of the sky if an external antenna is required, use an AIS-rated VHF antenna or approved splitter, and keep RF cables separated from high-current electrical wiring.

Use correctly fused 9.6V–31.2V power wiring, connect the intended NMEA 2000/NMEA 0183/USB/Wi-Fi/Bluetooth interface, and program MMSI and vessel data accurately. Test AIS reception, transmission, display output, battery-backup operation, and network data before regular use.
